The ceiling was painted today...that means paint goes on the walls tomorrow. I can't wait to see the finished product! Inventory should start coming in around the 22nd so it's getting very exciting around here!!!

Construction Started

I went by the store today. Permits have been pulled and work has started! They have already framed in the walls to create the back room and were working on the electrical when I went by. It's getting very exciting now and I can't wait to open. Sally and I are heading off to Las Vegas this weekend for another week of buying and selling!!!

I am back from Dallas market and can't wait to share all of our fun stuff with you! I can't show my hand yet since still have a ways yet before the store opens but trust me when I tell you that there's some fun stuff out there. I've even started getting some things delivered to my house so it's killing me that the store isn't open yet....see you soon!

2010 is here and so is The Purple Poppy

Hi and thanks for tuning in to what's happening with the store. As most of you know, I am Angie Radawicz, the owner of The Purple Poppy: Home Decor & Chick Stuff Galore.

We are in the very first stages of getting our space ready. Our landlord is pulling permits and soon will begin construction on the store. We are located in Atlas Valley Shopping Center, 2850 Arapahoe Road, Suite 108 in Lafayette, Colorado. We are in the building that faces Arapahoe and are right next to State Farm and Crawdaddy's Toys. We are anticipating opening early May...with our Grand Opening slated for Memorial Day weekend.

I am heading down to Dallas, Texas next week for 6 days of market shopping and am hoping to come home with lots of fun stuff to tell you about. Two weeks later I'm off to Las Vegas for more shopping and more fun stuff. Once I get back, we should have construction started and shopping done so I will have lots of updates for you.
